Built environment and geospatial technologies: experiences in Sardinia

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of recent developments of Geographic Information systems in Sardinia, aiming at showing actual issues and opportunities in the use of digital archives describing the historic settlements in urban and regional landscape planning.
