Multimedia based teaching and learning mechanism is being rapidly adopted and implemented in various schools of education. In this research, we explore and implement the use of Animation as tool for multimedia learning based on cognitive theory. To achieve this new dimension in cognitive learning, a 3D animated movie will be produced using principles of multimedia learning with 3D cartoon characters. Through this research, the model of Cognitive Theory will be modified and a new model will be driven using two new factors including 3D Animation and Natural Language Processing. Moreover, a new model will be developed for formulating the creation process of 3D animations based on the 3 principles of cognitive. In this research, the cognitive theory model was modified and new model drawn by using two new factors including 3D Animation and Natural Language processing. Moreover, a new model was developed for formulating the creating process of 3D animations based on the 3 principles of cognitive theory of multimedia learning. The Evaluation and Validation was done using two dependent parameters of learning: retention and transfer. A survey was conducted to validate these two models. The students of class V to VIII were selected as target population and sample was drawn from the primary schools of Sindh. The outcome is design and formulation of new developmental models that may promote learners understanding when 3D animations used as a source of multimedia learning that is consistent with the principles of cognitive theory.
