The prediction of soil loss and consequent sediment production in watersheds are essential for conservation planning soil and water. The objective of this work consists in determining the rainfall erosivity based on multivariate geostatistics, evaluation of critical areas with regard to the occurrence of heavy rain, producing of useful informations to management and conservation of soil and water and also support the mapping areas most vulnerable to erosion in the State of Tocantins. Thus, protection against erosion requires continuous care on the maintenance of soil conservation practices. This study delineated the microregion of the county, from the rainfall station of Taguatinga, operating since December 22, 1915, considering the period of analysis from 1983 to 2013. In determining the rainfall erosivity, used the equation given by Morais et. al. (1991).The rainfall data were obtained from the National Institute of Meteorology, INMET. The results showed that the month of maximum erosivity occurred in December, followed by January, March and November. The months from May to September are the ones that had the lowest ratings of erosivity, with the lowest average in the months of July, August and June respectively.
