Science education instrumentation and invitation to error: a reading from affordances framework
Abstract
In this work, the affordance concept presented in the literature is reviewed and directed to the immediate sense that an individual attributes to certain instruments or experiments that favor procedures and / or unwanted arrangements for instruction. Through a discussion that reveals the inherent morphological characteristics of certain equipment projects, based on this reading of affordances, it is looking for the awareness of scientific educator that morphological characteristics can induce misinterpretations of a phenomenon or also inducers of procedural misconceptions that hinder an experimental activity.
