Ten essential principles for successful communication
Abstract
To improve efficiency in the communication between public officials and citizens, there are ten essential principles that must be followed. These include transparency, clarity, timely response, active listening, accountability, collaboration, adaptability, professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity. Applying these principles can have a positive impact on the communication between public officials and citizens and can improve public services. In this article, each principle will be explained and concrete examples of how they can be implemented will be provided.
