The essence of human nature in the context of the work of St. Luka Krymskiy "Spirit, soul and body" is showed up in the form of a pyramid, the top of which is headed by the spirit and at the heart of which is the material body. In this direction it is determined that the spirit itself is the true essence of man, and the soul and body only act as intermediary between him and the world, shaping and directing him in his development towards good or evil. The interaction between them occurs at the point of the act of human consciousness. It should be noted that, according to St. Luke, the spirit is only a partially autonomous unit, and can only exist independently from the body and the soul.
