The formation of a workable teaching staff is an urgent problem for modern science and practice. Its solution depends on a system of factors that are the subject of interdisciplinary research. The article analyzes scientific publications on the study of factors of organizational culture of the teaching staff. It is concluded that scientists consider the favorable organizational climate of the teaching staff as an important condition for the effective implementation of tasks for the education and upbringing of students. Creating a favorable organizational climate for the teaching staff requires a comprehensive approach. It includes creating the material and technical conditions for effective professional activity, implementing the principles of organizational culture, and improving management methods and styles. Sociological research is an effective tool for managing the organizational climate of an educational institution. The article presents the results of a sociological study conducted in Togliatti in 2017 on teachers ' assessment of the organizational climate at school. The results show that more than 80% of teachers are satisfied with the material and technical conditions of work at the school. Problems arise due to the technical equipment of the offices. The results of the study indicate a low level of conflict between teachers. The majority of teachers appreciated the team spirit, positively characterize the relations with the administration. However, about a fifth of teachers will highlight the shortcomings of the organizational climate, which are manifested in the disunity of the team, in the presence of conflicts.
