In 2016, surveys were conducted on the site of the old Vieux-Port (Eure) slipway, which was one of the rare opportunities to study one of the last estuary waterways from the Seine. This operation, requiring a topographic and photogrammetric recording of circumstance (adapted to the context of foreshore), revealed the presence of three built assemblies (a slipway, a wharf and a dyke), the whole on about 1.800 m². The identified structures refer to a crossing of the river at the end of modern times and until the beginning of the 20th century.
