Abstract

The article deals with Vladimir Solovyov’s views on society. The main attention is drawn to the Solovyov’s arguments in favour of the development of the Christian social conception, and to the positive social program of the philosopher. The criticism of Solovyov’s views by E. Trubetskoy is discussed also. It is shown that some remarks of Trubetskoy are unsound. Finally Solovyov’s views on economics and socialism are put under investigation
