Evans-Vasilesco theorem in Dirichlet spaces

Abstract

The Evans-Vasilesco Theorem is proved for a general class of Dirichlet forms of diffusion type. This result is applied to show that every diffuse Radon measure vanishing on all sets of capacity zero can be expressed as the product of a Borel function and a Kato measure.
