In order to solve the scaling problem of submarine pipelines in an oilfield, the foam electronic geometric ball was used to detect the distribution of the internal sediment along the pipeline, and the water sample composition of the transport medium was analyzed to evaluate the scaling trend of the inner wall of the pipeline.XRD and XRF were used to test the phase and element content of the sediment. Results showed that the scaling tendency of CaCO3 in the marine pipeline was obvious, and it was speculated that the sulfate reducing bacteria (SRB) also had a certain influence on scaling.Stopping the marine pipeline heater, adding anti-scaling agent and bactericide to reduce the tendency of scaling, the measures of complex scale removal and progressive pellet removal were verified to remove the sediment inside the marine pipe.
