Abstract

Our Journal turns 20 years old in 2021.The first issue of the journal was published in September 2001. At the origins of the journal's formation was Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor A.M. Solovyova. From 2001 to 2008, only 2 issues were published per year. In 2005-2006, it experienced difficulties - it did not appear, and since 2009 it again began to publish and come out 4 times a year. From 2010 to the present, the editor-in-chief is Professor A.V. Mitronin. Our journal "Endodontics today" was conceived as a source of information about the state of endodontic science and practice in the world and as a channel of communication between specialists interested in endodontics. The title of the journal is intended to emphasize the concept of the journal, on the pages of which scientific and practical materials are published, reflecting the achievements of domestic and foreign authors on the problems of endodontics. Later, the expert council of the Higher Attestation Commission recommends reflecting on the pages of publications a wide research material on clinical dentistry of all profiles. Further, the editorial board of the journal included employees, professors of leading medical universities in Russia and foreign dental higher schools. It is pleasant to note that young specialists actively interested in therapeutic dentistry and modern endodontics appear on the pages of the journal and on scientific and practical domestic and foreign forums.I would like to thank the editorial board, directorate and employees of the publishing house ENDO PRESS LLC of the Endodontics Today journal for their conscientious and necessary work. The "Endodontics Today" Journal is recommended by the Dental Association of Russia to reflect materials on topical problems of dental care for the population. The scientific and practical journal covers new technologies in improving the complex prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with dental diseases. The pages of the journal are open to dentists, scientific researchers of medical universities in all regions of the Russian Federation and foreign countries.
