La evolución del Sistema Nacional de Salud Español

Abstract

Objetivo: Conocer la evolución que ha experimentado el Sistema Nacional de Salud Español en los últimos 10 años. Métodos: Las bases de datos empleadas fueron: Pubmed, Medline Plus, Biblioteca Cochrane Plus, Google Académico y Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas. Sólo se incluyeron los artículos científicos escritos en inglés o español. Dada la particularidad del tema estudiado, se incluyeron documentos relevantes del Instituto de Información Sanitaria (Ministerio de Sanidad y Política Social), Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Enfermería de España y Fundación BBVA. Se estudiaron las consecuencias de la descentralización sanitaria en el Sistema Nacional de Salud Español, las desigualdades existentes en materia de salud, las dificultades financieras a las que se enfrenta la sanidad española, así como los problemas de sostenibilidad del sistema sanitario y una serie de propuestas para solucionarlos. Resultados: Fueron encontrados 51 artículos o informes científicos y, se clasificaron en función del tema a tratar. Del análisis de los informes se extrajeron cuatro grupos según el tema en el que se centran: 20 se centraron en las políticas sanitarias y la descentralización; 10 que resaltaban el tema de las desigualdades en materia de salud y equidad en el SNS; 13 que señalaban aspectos relacionados con la sostenibilidad del SNS; y otros 8 que resaltaban el gasto sanitario español. Abstract: Objective: To know the evolution that has experienced the Spanish National Health System in the past 10 years. Methods: The databases used were: Pubmed, Medline Plus, library Cochrane Plus, Google Scholar and Higher Council for Scientific Research. We included only scientific articles written in English or Spanish. Given the particularity of the studied subject, included relevant documents from the Institute of health information (Ministry of health and Social policy), General Council of official colleges of nursing of Spain and Foundation BBVA. We studied the consequences of health decentralization within the national system of health Spanish, the existing health inequalities, the financial difficulties which confronts the Spanish health, as well as the problems of sustainability of the health system and a series of proposals to solve them. Results: Were found 51 items or scientific reports, and were classified according to the subject to be treated. Reports analysis extracted four groups according to the topic in which focus: 20 focused on sanitary politics and decentralization; 10 that highlighted the issue of inequalities in health and equity in the NHS; 13 signaling aspects related to the sustainability of the NHS; and other 8 protruding Spanish health costs.
