Oxidação do Ciclopirox em Eletrodo de Diamante: Estudo do Comportamento Voltamétrico e Determinação Eletroanalítica

In this work was developed a simple and sensitive method for the analytical determination of ciclopirox in pharmaceutical formulations using the square-wave voltammetry (SWV) and a cathodically pretreated boron-doped diamond electrode (BDDE). The BDDE provided a linear response to ciclopirox in the concentration range from 5.0 ´ 10-7 to 6.0 ´ 10-5 mol L-1 and a detection limit of 1.5 ´ 10-7 mol L-1. A paired t-test showed that all of the results obtained for ciclopirox in dermatological cream and topical solution using the proposed voltammetric method and the official method agreed at the 95% confidence level.
