Bharati, a contemporary poet, recorded the gradual change of life in the intellectual world by saying, "Man and woman are considered equal, and this will be subjugated by knowledge." But in the Tamil society of the Sangham Period, the system of social justice was followed, in which men were superior, women inferior, and justice for a man was justice for a woman. Athi Soodi, the book of justice that came after it, pointed out women as having evil qualities by saying 'Thaiyal Sol Kalel'. Over time the identity, recognition and progress of society were all determined by the chastity of women. Hence, the situation arose where women and their chastity had to be protected by their men. As a result, the concept arose that a woman should be protected by her father before marriage, by her husband after marriage, and thereafter by her son. Thus, women's world was structured as the home, the kitchen as her place of rule, and bearing children as their primary duty. Despite all these, there is no denying that the outside world they encounter is also unsafe. The purpose of this article is to approach and try to solve the sexual problems and harassment faced by a man who changes from male to female in one night in the short story 'Poigai' written by the writer Ambai to prove this statement about how women suffer and that has been realized through a male character with a one-night transformation.
