Main goal in this research is to identify the effect of motor abilities on success in performing the basic turn in alpine skiing. The sample of examinees in this research were consisted of regular students at Faculty of physical education and sport at University of Tuzla who passed alpine skiing. The measurement procedure was done due to the sample of 81 student. We choose 18 variables of motor abilities for which it is supposed they cover the area of latent dimensions of motor abilities space. By results of regressive analyze we identify that the effect of predictive variables on criteria variable is conditioned with more reliability by the whole system of predictor variables, and for foreseeing the results on success in performance of the basic turn in alpine skiing we need to observe and develop all motor abilities used in this research
