Increasing Activeness, Creativity, and Learning Achievement through Thematic Learning with Varied Media on Elementary School Students

Peningkatan Keaktifan, Kreativitas dan Prestasi Belajar melalui Pembelajaran Tematik dengan Media Bervariasi pada Siswa SD Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation, improved student learning, increased activeness, creativity, and student achievement through thematic learning with varied media. This research is a classroom action research. Implementation of the actions carried out in 2 cycles, and each cycle carried out for 4 days. Subjects were third grade students of SDN Pisangcandi 4 Malang, in the first semester of the school year 2013/2014. Data was collected through observation, field notes, interviews, documentation, and testing. The results showed the process and student achievement is increased. Activeness, creativity, student achievement is increased in the cycle 2 than the cycle 1. Key Words: thematic learning, varied media, increased activeness, creativity, learning achievement Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan, peningkatan proses belajar siswa, peningkatan keaktifan, kreativitas, dan prestasi belajar siswa melalui pembelajaran tematik dengan media bervariasi. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Pelaksanaan tindakan dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, dan tiap siklusnya dilaksanakan selama 4 hari. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SDN Pisangcandi 4 Kota Malang, pada semeser ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, catatan lapangan, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses dan prestasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan. Keaktifan, kreativitas, prestasi siswa lebih meningkat di siklus II daripada siklus I. Kata kunci: pembelajaran tematik, media bervariasi, peningkatan keaktifan, kreativitas, prestasi belajar
