As one of the most important components of the tourism system, the evaluation of tourist attractions (TAs) is essential to the planning and exploitation of the tourism sector. This study aims to evaluate the exploitation level of TAs in the province of An Giang, which is in the west of Mekong Delta, Vietnam. In this study, the method of synthetic scoring with 8 evaluation indicators together with AHP techniques were used to evaluate total of 46 TAs in the province. The rated TAs will be classified into 5 groups with different levels of exploitation convenience. The results of the evaluation of An Giang's TAs reveal that the majority of them simply halt at the medium level of exploitation level. The TAs that located in the tourist area of Sam Mountain Goddess have a very favorable level of exploitation, and Sam Mountain Goddess temple is considered as the core of tourism in the province.
