Stevens-Johnson syndrome. Presentation of a patient
Abstract
The Stevens-Johnson syndrome is a dermatological emergency. It is a skin disease that threatens life in which cell death causes the epidermis separated from the dermis; the disease has high mortality rates and it is a rare condition, with an incidence of about 2.6 to 6.1 cases per million people per year. A female patient who was admitted to hospital and had a favorable evolution is presented.
