Hospice care provides all-round physical, psychological, social and spiritual care for terminally ill patients, with the ultimate goal of helping patients and their families get the best quality of life. It is a humanistic model of medical service. This paper summarizes the application status, influencing factors, application methods and specific methods of hospice care in the Emergency Department of hospitals at home and abroad, in order to promote the effective identification and management of hospice care patients, and provide reference for the development of hospice care in the Emergency Department.
