Abstract

Mystification as literary fenomen (Cherubina de Gabriak) Mystification it is the composition, where an author attributes its authorship to either other person (real or imagined one) or to the folklore. Mystification makes possible creation of a new and creative portrait of a fictional author. Each (exposed or not exposed) mystification has got great scientific value and is noticed as the literary heritage of the epoch, then the investigation of the hidden, world view and literary-social motives helps to understand ideology of different epochs. The literary mystification produces interest not only among persons to whom it is directed but also among literates. Besides reports on individual cases of mystification, there is just only one scientific report of E. Lann, where the authortries to make its classification. The description of mystification’s causes and differences between mystification and pen-name are included in this paper. As the example, in this paper was described the case of appearance and discovery of Silver age mystification of Cherubina de Gabriak (it was the pen name of E. Dmitrieva) .
