A novel dual-load wireless power transfer system applied to electric vehicles and its characteristics analysis
Abstract
Magnetic coupling resonance wireless power transfer (MCR-WPT) technology plays an important role in promoting the development of electric vehicles. In order to meet the demand of dual-load synchronous power supply for electric vehicles, a novel dual-load wireless power transfer system based on fundamental wave channel and harmonic wave channel is designed. The circuit model is established and solved by Kirchhoff’s law and superposition theorem. By numerical methods, relationship between transfer performance and cross-coupling is studied, and the variable σiis introduced to measure the severity of mutual interference. The calculation shows that the mutual interference of the two channels can be limited to a quite low level by selecting the appropriate parameters of harmonic wave channel. In the end, simulations and experiments are performed. The total output power is 5.26kW and the efficiency is 93.11%, which can well verify the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
