The role of Austria in the shaping the dialogue between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union in 2018

Abstract

The article analyzes the role of the Republic of Austria in shaping the dialogue between the European Union (EU) and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in 2018. Russia was the chairman of the EAEU in 2018, and Austria was the chairman of the European Union in the second half of this year. The author examines the main events held with the participation of the Austrian partners, concludes that the Austrian politicians and entrepreneurs have made a constructive contribution to the «integration of integrations» and assesses the prospects for cooperation with Austria in this area.
