Когнітивно-прагматичний потенціал біблійних афоризмів

Abstract

Phraseologisms are short in structure, complete in content, deep in content, they have a special role in communication.Aphorisms reflect the linguistic picture of the world, record the linguistic- cognitive features of the worldview of each nation. The purpose of scientific research is to study the cognitive and pragmatic potential of aphorisms of biblical origin.Aphorisms are considered as a component of biblical discourse in the modern communicative space; characteristic semantic parameters characteristic of biblical aphorisms are defined.It was found that in the communicative space, biblicalisms acquire a different sound: blurring of conceptual boundaries, expansion or transformation of meanings, etc. The war radically changed the linguistic picture of the world of Ukrainians. Turning to the power of the word, particularly of biblical origin, the emergence of new aphorisms is a powerful spiritual support in the battle with the forces of darkness. The active use of aphorisms in the latest communicative practices testifies to the modern world's need for spiritualization, for the affirmation of the ideals of God's eternal justice, the triumph of goodness and peace.
