Inspired Designs of Textile Hangings from the Abstract Art of Kandinsky and applying them using the style of Gobelin

The research aims to study the abstract art and its origin, artistic, values aesthetic, its characteristics and how to apply this art in the development of the thought of a designer. Also the study of the works of the artist Kandinsky and his creative sources and how to build shapes and configurations and the artisticof stages of Kandinsky. besides the study of the process and practical methods of textile hangings, and the importance of its role as one of the contents of interior design so that the textile hangings are keeping up with the technological development in terms of design in interior design, the use of the abstract art of Kandinsky in the creation of fabric designs fit as gobelin style, and to enrich the value of the art of textile hangings formally through the work of a set of designs based on the foundations and elements of design. The researcher presents aspects of study through the division of research as follows: First: (The definition of research and methodology): The introduction includes the definition of the problem of research, its importance, its objectives, its hypotheses, its limits, and its methodology. The aim of the research is to benefit from abstract art in the creation of various textile designs suit as gobelin, the achievement of technical and practical compromise of abstract art using the gobelin fabric as the textile hangings are one of the important elements in completing the interior design. Second: The research is divided into two sections: Part I: Previous studies of research are divided into three chapters: Chapter I:: Abstract Art and the Artist Kandinsky: The definition includes introducing of abstract art its features, types, artistic and aesthetic values, also included the study of the artist Kandinsky in terms of his historical and development stages of the technical study of some models of his works in terms of its elements and subdivisions. Chapter II: textile hangingsand the methods of application: This chapter deals with the study of textile hangings in terms of their types, historical development, methods and applications. Chapter IIl: design The intake of this chapter is to study the elements and foundations of design and factors affecting the design of the textile and the advantages of computer use in design. Second section:includes two chapters are Design Experiences: Chapter I It includes a set of design experiments and technicalanalysis of design ideas and a work of identifying these designs in terms of novelty, modernityand aesthetic values ​​in designs. Chapter II:Practical designs: The display of (9) designs that were tested by questionnaire and applied in the gobelin style and the presentation of the structures that were signed on the executed pieces .Also The results, recommendations and references that were used in this research were presented.
