ENSEMBLE SCENES – PARADIGMS OF ROMANIAN CULTURE

Abstract

The direct contact with the surrounding world and the tendency towards a realistic art led to the creation of grandiose works, with many characters that have the role of differentiating and giving a unidimensional character to a certain group. The collective hero’s suggestion can be found both in fine arts, literature, cinematography and musical theatre, the creators can be placed in the gallery of great analysts of the masses` soul. The paintings representing the people`s life and the image itself of the people has been shown in idyllic landscapes, solemn atmosphere or tragic pathos, with emphasized and exaggerated gestures like in symphonic performance. The description of ensemble scenes built and developed the fundamental values line of the Romanian culture and through generating models and determining points of reference were materialized true cultural paradigms.
