Desquiciar el presente. Alternancias entre la especulación y la lectura en autoras argentinas

Abstract

This article rehearses a movement between interpretation and speculation to investigate the dissonances in the knowledge of individual alienations and the imagination of social alternatives. In this essay we analyse three Argentinian fictions: The short story "Deseo" by T. P. Mira-Echeverría, the poetry collection El fin de la era farmacopornográfica by P. Salmoiraghi and the novel Las indignas by A. Bazterrica. This corpus contains an intersection between utopia and dystopia, as well as a gothic horizon that shows the insufficiency of current cognitive materials to explain what is perceptible.
