T2 glótico: Controversias
Abstract
El cáncer glótico precoz en su categoría T2 es motivo actual de controversias debido a su diversidad clínica y evolutiva. La cirugía como tratamiento inicial trata de desplazar a la radioterapia del lugar que históricamente ha ocupado. Con el objetivo de analizar las indicaciones precisas de cada modalidad terapéutica basado en factores pronósticos se analiza una revisión bibliográfica del estado actual de esta polémica haciendo énfasis en variables como: la forma clínica, la invasión a la comisura anterior, la invasión subglótica, la movilidad y la reducción importante del espacio glótico. Se concluye entre otras cosas que se necesitan aun estudios que den respuesta a muchas de las interrogantes que se han generado en torno a este problema.The early T2 glottic cancer is at present the cause of controversies due to its clinical and evolutive diversity. Surgery as an initial treatment tries to remove radiotherapy from the place it has had historically. In order to analyze the exact indications of every therapeutic modality based on prognostic factors, a bibliographic review of the present status of this polemic is analyzed, making emphasis on variables such as: the clinical form, the invasion of the anterior commissure, the subglottic invasion, the mobility and the important reduction of the glottic space. It is concluded that studies are needed to give an answer to many of the questions that have arised about this problem.
