This article discusses the importance of the use of natural preservatives in cosmetics and personal care products, especially in the context of the search for alternatives to chemical preservatives in order to reduce health risks. The article summarizes the effects of different extraction and preparation methods on the yield and purity of natural preservatives and discusses strategies to improve their stability. By carefully classifying and analyzing the inhibition mechanisms of natural preservatives, their value and potential in practice are highlighted.
