La Tribología y sus aplicaciones en la industria

Abstract

This article is about importance of tribology on industrial development. It emphasizes on the need to create an Ecuadorian Tribologycal Center asan alternative to save economic resources,feedstock, energy resources, and to get better equipment efficiency. This article proposes some priority research linesfor this Center, too. A practica/ applica­tion of this discipline is presented here: the tribologyca/ behavior of e/ectrometalized coatings based on exothermic materials composed on a/uminum - nickel (30% and 70%, respective/y) with others to use them in repairing machine parts.
