Restauración del Alcázar Omeya de de Ammán (Jordania)

Abstract

A long excavation campaign has been carried out by a Spanish expedition on the Umeyya fortress at Amman in Jordan, culminating in the consolidation of the archaeological remains and the restoration of the most outstanding buildings, with a view to going beyond strict conservation and a willingness to arouse citizen awareness about the need to preserve the memory of the monuments of our past.
