Sport as a generator of Entrepreneurship
Abstract
For the realization of this work, the city of Santiago de Cali was taken as the base, which has a sporting vocation that goes back many years ago. The performance of sports activity becomes an opportunity to undertake and a phenomenon to study, the objective set for this research is based on identifying sports business entrepreneurship, its characteristics, and its impacts. For the above, a descriptive quantitative study was used and as a tool to collect the information, the survey of 909 sports entrepreneurs in the city was used. As the main conclusions, it was identified that this industry in the city is concentrated in micro-sized companies. with a great emphasis on the social and entrepreneurial intention at a sports level, it is mostly male.
