Abstract
This article analyses the professionnalization of academic careers. Based on several quantitative and qualitative researches carried on academic careers in Switzerland, it problematizes an original link between faculties training and academic workplace. To do so, it questions how the academic profession in general and academic careers in particular have become the objects of political regulation.
