Factors Affecting Decision of Entrepreneurs to Invest in Securities in Mae Ka, Muang Phayao, Phayao
Abstract
The objective of this study was to study the determination factors for investing in securities by entrepreneurs in Mae Ka sub-district, Muang Phayao district, Phayao province. Analysis was based on 270 samples.The study tool was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and binary logit model. The results of the study showed that most of the respondents were female entrepreneurs, aged 20-30 years old. Most of them had bachelor’s degree, and their average monthly income were 20,001-40,000 baht. They had no debts. Many of the respondents had a moderate level of fundamental financial literacy. Their risk acceptance was at moderate to high level. Regarding the expected return, they had a moderate opinion about it. In addition, the model of deciding factors for investment in securities of business owners in Mae Ka sub-district, Muang Phayao district, Phayao province was appropriate. The accuracy in predicting the investment needs of business owners in Mae Ka Sub-district, Muang Phyao District, Phayao Province was accurate at 83.7%. Moreover, the factors affecting investment in securities of business owners in Mae Ka Sub-district, Muang Phayao District, Phayao Province included the basic financial literacy r, and the expected yield factor.
