Mental health of children is becoming increasingly important in present society, which is increasingly demanding of mental capacities and psychosocial resilience. the gap between the needs for help of children with mental health disorders and the capacities of mentalhealth services is enormous. it is obvious that the medical model of child mental health protection will not solve the problem − even in rich countries with more resources at their disposal. the author highlights the importance of natural resources for child mental health protection and of sharing tasks and responsibilities between the different agents, shaping children’s lives.
