Purpose. The article is devoted to the theme of love in the Russian philosophical utopia. The subject of analysis is the utopian projects of N. Berdyaev, S. Frank, Dm. Merezhkovsky, who consider the spiritual transformation of human society. The aim of the research is to reveal the role of love in the formation of a harmonious society offered by philosophers. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study is a set of comparative-typological, structural method, hermeneutics and gender approach. Results. The article substantiates the idea of the system-forming character of love in the considered utopian projects, which in general corresponds to the peculiarities of the philosophy of this period. The author reveals the religious nature of love, the importance of spiritual and fraternal love in the harmonization of society and the restoration of human integrity. Practical implications. The results of the research can be applied in educational and pedagogical activities and in the field of socio-cultural design.
