وظيفة كبير البوابة smsw- hAyt وذكره في النصوص الهيراطيقية Function of Elder of the Portal smsw- hAyt and Its Mentioned in- Hieratic Texts

Abstract

الملخص: يتناول هذا البحث إحدى الوظائف الإدارية المهمة في الجهاز الإداري في مصر القديمة، وهي وظيفة كبير البوابة smsw-hAyt التي ظهرت منذ عصر الدولة القديمة واستمرت حتى العصر المتأخر، وكبير البوابة له مهام متعددة داخل أروقة الصالات في القصر الملكي أو في المعابد، ومنها دوره القضائي في فض المنازعات بين الأهالي، ومسؤول عن كل ما يرتبط ببوابات المعابد من استلام قرابين الآلهة أو مؤن العاملين؛ والبحث يهدف لتوضيح دور كبير البوابة وذكره من خلال النصوص الهيراطيقية، وتطور شكل اللقب الكتابي في النصوص الهيروغليفية الأخرى؛ وذلك لأنه يكون أحد الموظفين المهمين لكونه أحد العاملين في القصر الملكي، ولدوره القضائي سواء في القصر أو المعبد، وكان هناك أكثر من موظف يحمل لقب smsw- hAyt لإتمام المهام المختلفة المكلفين بها سواء داخل القصر الملكي أو في المعابد. Abstract: This research deals with one of the important administrative functions of the administrative system in ancient Egypt. It is a function of the Elder of the Portal smsw- hAyt, which appeared from the Old Kingdom and continued to the Late Period. The elder of the portal had many tasks inside the corridors of the halls in the royal palace or in the temples, as his judicial role ended disputes between people, and he was responsible for everything related to the temple gates like receiving offerings for the deities or official provisions. The research aims to show the role of the elder of the portal as mentioned in the Hieratic texts, and the development forms in other Hieroglyphic texts, as he is one of the important officials- in the royal palace and its judicial role in the palace or temple. There was more than an official holding the title smsw- hAyt; to finish the commissions on them either in the palace or in the temples.
