Sundar Balakrishna is an officer of the Indian Forest Service, presently serving as Director, Electronic Services Delivery in the Department of Information Technology, Government of Andhra Pradesh. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering, a master’s degree in forestry, a postgraduate diploma in management (from IIM Indore), and a doctorate in economics (from IIM Ahmedabad). Sundar teaches econometrics with R, environmental economics, and economics of regulation in the PGP and the PGPBM at IIMs Indore, Trichy, and Visakhapatnam as guest faculty. e-mail:
