The spanish republican teachers. Memories and forgetting in democracy era

Abstract

In this paper we try to analyse the state of the Spanish teachers of the II Republic at the beginning of the Transition to democracy. The arrival of democracy in Spain brought with the recognition of pedagogical rol carried out by II Republic tea- chers and, what is over, the struggle to get the integration in the Spain National Tea- ching through acquired rights.
