Os Estilos de funcionamento da liderança nas coordenações do Arquivo Público do Estado da Bahia (APEB), Brasil

Abstract

It demonstrates the results of a thesis on leadership styles in the Coordinations of the Public Archives of the State of Bahia (APEB). For this purpose, data collection took place through the application of 4 (four) questionnaires to the coordinators of the 5 (five) APEB Coordinations and the treatment of the data was done in an Excel spreadsheet. It is concluded, among others, that the chief archivists can gather in their teams several complementary skills that provide performances that are superior to individual performances. In this way, information, responsibilities and collaboration are shared, which guarantee the team's confidence in its leader. It is also necessary to develop selfknowledge and perception of the external environment through continuous learning, improving relationships, creative capacity and innovation. After all, the ability to lead teams helps to promote creativity, break the isolation and encourage multifunctional work.
