This article aims to analyze how the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are existing in the teaching practices of teachers trainers in the Biological Sciences Degree Program of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Amazonas (IFAM). A qualitative research was done with data collected through a semistructured questionnaire and interviews, nine academics and ten professors of the Biological Science Degree Course of IFAM participated in the process. The questionnaire answered by the academics was composed of nine opened and closed questions and its goal was to know the subjects of the research, the reason for attending a degree course, how the ICT were part in the formation of the people involved and what their opinion on how the ICT can be used in education. The interviews done with the professors trainers of the referred course aimed to investigate how ICT are present in the pedagogical practices of students' formation in the university. The results suport that although the professors of the Biological Science Bachelor Degree had used the ICT, there are only a few who use them to stimulate students' creativity and autonomy, aiming knowledge production and not only reproduction.
