Interactive Criminal Justice: A Case Study of the Victims of Terrorism in Mosul

The idea of the research is based on involving the victims of terrorism in achieving criminal justice and creating a new idea based on the victims’ satisfaction and acceptance of the justice provided by the system through their participation in the procedures. This participation and interaction of victims in the criminal procedures taken by the court makes the victims feel satisfied with the procedures and not only submitting to what is decided by the court. This case study addresses an important question related to how victims’ interaction and participation in the procedures could contribute to achieving criminal justice. For this purpose, the study selected a sample of terrorism victims in Mosul city of different religious, ethnic, educational gender background.
