This research sheds light on the assumption of the civil liability fulfilment as a consequence of the damages, which result from the electronic media materials of the media institutions and how to provide the legal protection to the intellectual properties rights of these media material owned by the media institutions if these materials were illegally exploited or used and the accountability concerning the damages caused. Modern technology development in the electronic media domain, including all its positive aspects like the fast publishing of news, accidents and information led to make them easily accessible by the audience interactively. Though, these technological developments drift with them many violations to the intellectual property laws in terms of the electronic media materials and these violations are represented by copying, printing and republishing them without the consent of the relevant media institution which owns the material or by distorting and modifying them in an attempt to defame them.
