The environmental education can be understood as a way to aware the new generations of global population to cohabit with others organisms and animals, seeing further than what is similar to human being. The paper discuss environmental education and its development perceived from two films: Happy Feet (2005) and the documentary March of the Penguins, both present population of animals exposed in inhospitable environment of Antarctica. The films go through between self-identification with human and the keeping of non-human being characteristic. The challenge of the work is to identify the use of these medias as a tool for environmental education, helping on reordering of cultural practices of symbolic animal.
