Property characteristics of agricultural holding systems and their administration in the rural area of Ramadi

Abstract

The study aims to know the joining of agricultural holdings and their management in the study area, and it became clear through the study that there is a discrepancy between the area of ​​owned agricultural holdings and the area of ​​leased agricultural holdings, as the area of ​​owned agricultural holdings reached (52876) Acres, while the area of ​​leased agricultural holdings reached (121095) Acres. And it appeared, by addressing the issue of agricultural tenure management, that direct management of agricultural holdings accounted for (96.40%) of the total number of agricultural holdings amounting to (8829) holdings, i.e. (8511) holdings. Then followed by the holdings managed by proxy or musharakah, at a rate of (3.60%) and the number of (318) holdings. The issue of agricultural holding, how it is invested, its systems and technical characteristics, are among the factors that have an effective impact on agricultural activities in it, especially if we know that it extends over a large area of ​​up to (174113)Acres.
