The Teacher’s Place in School Culture

Abstract

In Poland, school culture in the past was ignored in social research, but that has changed. In this article I will show school culture as the context of the teacher’s life at school. The ethnographic research shows the teacher to be a reproducer rather than a producer of school culture.
