The use of melatonin in obstetric practice

Abstract

This review shows the role of the pineal gland and its main hormone melatonin in the regulation of the reproductive system, gynecological pathology and obstetric practice, given the possibility of correcting certain pathological states by administration of exogenous melatonin (Melaxen).
