Global Warming Effects and Nursing

Abstract

Global warming is a comprehensive problem affecting the whole world with the increasing effects of greenhouse gas and human activities. Global warming should be evaluated not only as an increase in temperature on the earth's surface, but as a whole with its possible effects. Hospitals are effective organizations on health in terms of application area. However, they contribute to the development of global warming through various activities. Hospitals taking steps to reduce global warming will create big differences on earth. Nurses can play a pioneering role in shaping the global warming and alleviating its effects in terms of being in constant interaction with the public. It is important that nurses from an awareness and create an example in terms of their position as reliable individuals among the public. In this review, it is aimed to increase the knowledge of readers about health and nursing on the effects of global warming.
