Sur-dénomination des familles à Mazouna : analyse sociolinguistique des patronymes et leurs usages

Abstract

This contribution aims to show, in the option of a linguistics of the production of meaning, the relationships that are forged in Algeria between denomination, social praxis (history of peoples, cultural practices) and linguistic praxis (history and life of languages). It reflects views, thus it is the meeting point between sociolinguistics, history and onomastics and testifies to the different appellations, and therefore different languages. It therefore necessarily includes « points of view » on the Algerian patronymic system. This will lead us to examine the lexico-semantic forms of the surname of the city of Mazouna, then the sociolinguistic issues in the perspective that oscillates between an official denomination and a real use.
