Test anxiety produces in some students a series of negative emotions that may inhibit students from performing according to their academic potential. This high activation not only negatively affects the performance before the exams, but can also unbalance the health of the students. Thus, before the exams begin, students with anxiety begin to suffer from very different physical disorders (insomnia, headache, nausea, vomiting, etc.), aggravating as they approach the days of examination. The relationship between the practice of physical activity and the mental and physical health of people is widely studied and demonstrated, reflected in their levels of anxiety and stress. Likewise, I have observed that the great majority of studies on the subject show a positive relationship between the students’ academic performance and the practice of physical activity and sport. However, studies on the influence of physical activity and anxiety on exams are limited and do not provide enlightening results.
